Gas, propane and safety
Natural gas in Malibu comes from SoCalGas, and some Malibu and canyon homes have no gas main and run on propane from a tank and a supplier. If you smell gas, leave the house first, then call SoCalGas or 911 from outside. Do not try to relight the furnace in the meantime.
